Admission Requirements, Job Placement Opportunities, and the Northwestern Experience
The Master of Science in Analytics degree from the McCormick School of Applied Science at Northwestern University is uniquely suited for students who wish to prepare themselves fully for the demands of the 21st century job market in data analysis.
Our incoming students have bachelor's degrees in engineering, business, computer science, math, information technology, and a number of other academic disciplines. No specific undergraduate degree is required, but a background in one of the the above areas is encouraged. Applicants with work experience are encouraged to apply but should note that the Master of Science in analytics is a full-time 15 month commitment, which will make it impossible to continue working while a student in the program.
Applicants are recommended to have a GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from an accredited undergraduate institution.
