Application Process

Businesses today use data mining and analytics to drive pricing, marketing, R&D, finance, operations, logistics, risk management and online activities.  Students with a Master of Science in Analytics degree from McCormick enter the workforce with the skills, confidence and expertise needed to succeed.


We warmly welcome your interest in the Master of Science in Analytics program at Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering. Before commencing the application process, please read through the admissions pages of this website to ensure you have all the information you need.

To apply for admission to the Master of Science in Analytics, you will need to complete these steps

1. Register for the online application system  

2. Complete all aspects of the online application, including:

          a)  general information form
          b)  personal statement
          c)  academic credentials form
          d)  uploading your resume
          e)  submission of names and contact information for three recommenders

 3. Submit, by mail, the following supplementary materials:

           a) official, and original, transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate education attempted
           b) official copies of your GRE/GMAT scores (not required) and/or TOEFL (if necessary)
         

4. Pay your application fee. This may be done by either a check drawn on a US bank account for $50. The check should be made payable to Northwestern University or by credit card at our payment system.
